What are photochromic lenses?

Total Frame Width:
The measurements for most pairs of glasses are located on the inside of the temple arm. There you’ll find listed in order the lens width, bridge width, and temple arm length 50-22-141 measured in millimeters.
The lens width is a horizontal measurement and gives you a sense of how large the frames will be. This will help you pick a frame that isn’t too wide or too narrow for your face. You’ll want your eyes to align with the center of the frame.
The bridge width is measured horizontally at the top of the frame. It’s the distance between the two lenses. Select a style where the bridge of the frame contours to the shape of your nose with as little gapping as possible.
The temple length measures the arm of the frame. It starts with the hinges and goes back behind your ear.

Axis This describes the lens meridian that contains no cylinder power to correct astigmatism. The axis is defined with a number from 1 to 180. The number 90 corresponds to the vertical meridian of the eye, and the number 180 corresponds to the horizontal meridian. |
