Are Transitions lenses appropriate to wear while working at a computer?
Response from Muunel
Yes. They can be worn anywhere, and you wear regular clear lenses daily. Our Signature® GEN 8™ also combines blue light filters that help you see more comfortably inside and out, day and night.
Can Transitions lenses enhance my quality of vision?
Response from Muunel
Yes. Because Transitions® lenses change with every variation of light, they help you consistently see your best by reducing glare, enhancing the ability to discern objects of varying size, brightness, and contrast, and enabling you to see better in all light conditions.
Do Transitions lenses reduce glare?
Response from Muunel
Yes. Our transitions GEN 8™ by Essilor® lenses react quickly to changing light and darken outside in bright sunlight. As light conditions change, the level of tint adjusts to provide the right tint at the right time. This convenient protection against glare is automatic.
Do Transitions lenses protect against UV rays?
Response from Muunel
Yes. Our Transitions® lenses block 100% of both UVA UVB rays and 100% against blue light at 420NM.
What are photochromic lenses?
Response from Muunel
Photochromic or “adaptive” lenses darken when exposed to UV light, such as when you walk outdoors. When you are no longer exposed to the effects of UV (i.e., walk indoors), the lenses return to their clear state. Transitions® GEN 8™ are photochromic lenses that block 100% of harmful UVA and UVB rays and give you the protection against blue light rays like screen or other harmful light.
Sunt lentilele Transitions adecvate pentru a fi purtate în timpul lucrului la calculator?
Response from Muunel
Da.

Sphere (SPH) Indicates the strength of your prescription. Distance prescriptions usually have a (-) before the number. Reading prescriptions will usually have a (+) before the number. Below (marked in blue) is where you should find the Sphere details. |
Cylinder (CYL) This indicates the amount of lens power for astigmatism. If nothing appears in this column, either you have no astigmatism, or your astigmatism is so slight that it is not really necessary to correct it with your eyeglass lenses. |
Axis This describes the lens meridian that contains no cylinder power to correct astigmatism. The axis is defined with a number from 1 to 180. The number 90 corresponds to the vertical meridian of the eye, and the number 180 corresponds to the horizontal meridian. |
